The marketing geniuses down at Renault have hit a home run on this one. They've taken the consumer insight that "you couldn't pay me to drive a shitbox Renault" and said "oh yeah, how about up to €1500".

Funnily enough they're trying to be very post modern with their new ad - the thrust of it being - remember how you said you'd never be seen dead in a renault but wait for it - now you've got kids you'll start to think of renault as a vhi life stage. Clever beginning but they seem to forget that you'd never be seen dead in a renault with or without kids
